Positions are long by default; in bear regimes the crypto engine can also take short positions.
Source: Re-run 2026-05-28 on extended 2020-01-01 → 2026-05-26 window via AutoCoin's canonical replication harness. Window captures COVID crash, 2020-21 bull, Terra/Luna, FTX, 3AC, 2023-24 AI rally, and 2025-26 chop. The longer window's CAGR is lower than the earlier 5-year run because additional drawdown periods are included, not because the strategy changed.

Infrastructure: IMX, FIL, GRT, RNDR, ALGO, EGLD.
Method: Same V5d architecture as Dionysus but tuned for the alt cycle. Every 3 days: (1) 21-day sector regime check - if universe-wide median momentum is negative, flatten to cash; (2) rank all 29 alts by 14d return, take top 2 (more concentrated than Dionysus's top 3 since alts are less wild); (3) inverse-volatility weighting; (4) 3× leverage with adaptive halving to 1.5× when portfolio drawdown exceeds 30%; (5) -20% per-position trailing stop. The top-2 concentration is the key tuning - top-3 underperformed top-2 by ~110 percentage points of CAGR in the sweep.
